Overall Responsibility

The Sales Executive shall work with customers (both B2C & B2B) to introduce the Company’s product in the market as a service provider for on demand pick-­‐ups & deliveries; maintain sales and high standards of service to customers; take part in daily operations; recommend, implement and effectively control pricing; manage subordinates in compliance with the company’s regulations, policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains and expands business in the assigned area.
  • Negotiates agreements and resolves potential issues or problems with clients.
  • Expands existing or current customer base.
  • Creates awareness of all the products and services in the area to magnify market influence and generate future sales.
  • Develops sales network and price structure to attain targets and increase revenues.
  • Implements customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Other administrative tasks may include some required budget assistance; payment processing, personnel activities, and staff scheduling.

Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments.

Education

Experience
At least 2 years experience in sales of logistics/transportation.

About the position

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant must provide financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control. The Senior Accountant will also provide financial, administrative and clerical services relating to monthly and other reporting.

Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

With time, the Senior accountant will be required to manage, train and mentor junior finance staff, including reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy.

The successful candidate will be an independent-thinking and driven individual, with an enthusiasm for working in an entrepreneurial environment in a role that requires flexibility, leadership and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

The work of Senior Accountant includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Maintain up-to-date billing system
  • Generate and send out invoices
  • Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
  • Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines perform account reconciliations
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Review AR aging to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Process adjustments
  • Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally assist with month-end closing
  • Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Support HR and Finance departments in preparation of monthly payroll and tax process
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including “Budget vs. Actual” variance reports.
  • Assist in providing follow-up and documentation of significant variances
  • Assist with annual external audit. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual and any interim or other audit.
  • Assist the CFO in developing, documenting and implementing business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in a start-up office environment
  • Liaise with the CFO to improve financial procedures
  • Wide range of ad hoc but related works in the area of work, supporting the CFO and wider team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • ACCA, LCCI, or comparable
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • 5+ years’ proven experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Experience working in an international organisation
  • Good knowledge of IFRS/MFRS
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Good knowledge of accounting/finance software
  • Knowledge of Myanmar Government Tax obligations
  • Knowledge of Xero Accounting and/or other accounting software packages would be a strong advantage

Operations Executive is responsible for maintaining daily operation of trucking service; recommending, implementing and effectively controlling pricing; handling customers relation; and performing a variety of administrative tasks.Operations Executive directly manages daily operation; maintains office facilities; and manages subordinates in compliance with the company’s regulations, policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintains and expand business in the assigned area.
  • Handles customers relation, creates awareness of the Companys products and services for customers.
  • Handles daily bookings, negotiates agreements including pricing, terms and conditions with customers.
  • Supports telesales.
  • Works closely with Fleet team to find best offers from drivers to fulfill customers requests.
  • Communicates with drivers efficiently to book for trucks.
  • Updates cash book daily and reports weekly to the senior management team.
  • Trains new hires in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Manages and purchases office supplies, companies branding materials.
  • Handles company conference and event logistics, including booking rooms, choosing vendors, inviting guests and booking travel arrangements if necessary.
  • Other administrative tasks include but not limited to some required budget assistance; payment processing, personnel activities, senior management and staff scheduling etc
